Soweto giants Orlando Pirates have announced the signing of winger Kamogelo Sebelebele from TS Galaxy, as they continue to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season.
Sebelebele joins the Buccaneers after an impressive breakout campaign with Betway Premiership side TS Galaxy, where he featured in 29 matches and scored five goals.
His strong performances also earned him a spot in the Bafana Bafana squad for the 2025 COSAFA Cup, where he further distinguished himself, walking away with a Man of the Match award. South Africa finished as runners-up, with Sebelebele even earning a spot in the Team of the Tournament.
In a statement on Monday, Pirates confirmed that Sebelebele will not be traveling to Spain with the main squad for preseason, but will instead train with other club players in South Africa.
โSebelebele will join the group of players who remained in Johannesburg while the selected first team group embarked on their preseason tour in Spain,โ said the club.
โWhile naturally a winger, the Limpopo-born star demonstrated his tactical adaptability last season by also excelling at both right back and left back โ highlighting his versatility and dynamism he brings to Abdeslam Ouaddouโs squad.โ

Pirates are currently in Marbella, where they have two remaining fixtures against Spanish outfits Las Palmas and Granada before returning home on 20 July.
BAFANA BAFAFANA WINGER JOIN A LIST OF NEW SIGNINGS AT THE BUCCANEERS
The Bafana Bafana star is Pirates’ 10th new signing, joining a strong list of arrivals that includes Sipho Mbule, Yanela Mbuthuma, Tshepang Moremi, Nkosikhona Ndaba, Sinoxolo Kwayiba, Tshepo Mashiloane, Sihle Nduli, Masindi Nemtajela, and Oswin Appollis.
Meanwhile, the 23-year-old Sebelebele has been a key figure at the Mpumalanga-based Galaxy since the 2022/23 season, missing only three Betway Premiership matches last season.
The Buccaneers have moved swiftly to secure the talented winger, adding him to their growing list of new arrivals for the upcoming season.
This increased squad depth will be crucial as Pirates prepare to compete in over five competitions, including defending the MTN8, and challenging for the Betway Premiership, Nedbank Cup, Carling Knockout, and CAF Champions League titles.
