Stanic has already joined the Steve Barker-coached side’s pre-season camp in Johannesburg.

โ€œIโ€™m very grateful and excited to be here. The team has already welcomed me very well, and Iโ€™m looking forward to the season ahead,” said Stanic upon his unveiling.

“The project at Stellenbosch FC is what attracted me to come to South Africa. I spoke to several people at the club, and I really like the project that is being worked on. Iโ€™m also looking forward to playing in the domestic championship [the Betway Premiership] and to showcasing my talent in the country.

โ€œI will fight for the badge and give 100% to the team. I am still young, and I have ambitions that I hope to achieve with the club.

โ€œIt will also be my first time playing in a big competition like the CAF Confederation Cup. Last season, Stellenbosch reached the semi-finals, and I believe we can do even better this time around.โ€

Meanwhile, on Monday, 14 July, Stellies confirmed the departure of Thulani Mini following a mutual agreement to part ways.
