FARPost has established that newly promoted Betway Premiership side Orbit College FC has parted ways with a number of players ahead of the new season.
The North West-based secured their promotion to the Premiership via the PSL Promotional/Relegation Playoffs. They finished top of the mini-log, which included Casric Stars and Cape Town City FC, who were subsequently relegated to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
It was only Orbit College’s second season in the National First Division following their promotion from the SAFA ABC Motsepe League in 2023.
The club is set to host a media day on Friday, 18 July at the Olympia Park Stadium in Rustenburg. They are expected to announce some of the new signings, including Monnapule Saleng, who joins on a season-long loan from Orlando Pirates. The 27-year-old has reunited with his former coach, Pogiso Makhonye, to revive his career.
WHO ARE THE PLAYERS BEING RELEASED BY THE NEWLY PROMOTED SIDE ORBIT COLLEGE?
This publication has established that Lesotho International Tshwarelo Bereng is among the players getting released by the club.

Some of the players linked with an exit are Thato Mogokolodi, Alpha Lekeno, Mpho Khabane and Kamogelo Sinvula.
The club has reportedly made a decision against renewing their contracts as they plan for life in the top division.
