Former Kaizer Chiefs star Njabulo Blom is embarking on a new phase of his career, having officially signed with Vietnamese V.League 1 champions Thep Xanh Nam Dinh F.C.

This move to Asian football follows the conclusion of his loan spell with the Amakhosi at the end of last season, marking his departure from the PSL.

He featured 19 times in all competitions for the club, including winning the Nedbank Cup final after beating rivals Orlando Pirates 2-1 in Durban. But the Soweto giants passed on a permanent deal for Blom after his loan, as he failed to impress and regain the form that earned him his MLS move in January 2023.

The Chiefs DStv Diski Challenge [DDC] graduate was officially announced by Nam Dinh on Friday, alongside striker Kyle Hudlin, ahead of the 2025/26 Vietnamese top-flight season.
