Kuffour believes the recent Chiefs’ visit to Ghana sets a powerful example of how African football can grow stronger through collaboration.

“The entire exercise led by Chiefs has been an invaluable learning experience for all of us involved in club football on the continent,” said Kuffour.
“We are honoured to welcome legends like Nomvethe and Fredericks to Ghana. Their presence here, as part of the Toyota Cup initiative, goes beyond football. It’s about building bridges across Africa through the beautiful game.

Meanwhile, Baffoe has also echoed Kuffour’s sentiments and says the Toyota Cup match between Chiefs and the 25-time Ghana champions is more than just a game.
The Toyota Cup presents a unique opportunity for African clubs to build strategic relationships and elevate the standard of football on the continent. It’s about more than 90 minutes on the pitch,” he said.
“When two giants like Kaizer Chiefs and Asante Kotoko come together in this way, it sends a powerful message that African clubs can lead their own evolution.
“We salute Kaizer Chiefs for taking this bold step, and we look forward to what this can spark across the continent.”
