Kaizer Chiefs’ marketing and commercial director, Jessica Motaung, has weighed in on whether Amakhosi are done recruiting new players.
The Soweto giants recently concluded a pre-season tour in the Netherlands as they are preparing for the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season.
Chiefs played training matches against some of the top division teams in the Netherlands, giving head coach Nasreddine Nabi a chance to build a competitive squad for next season.
The Glamour Boys aim to improve on their inconsistent performance in the previous season, which saw them finish in the bottom half of the league table.
Chiefs finished the 2024/25 campaign in ninth position with 32 points after winning eight matches, drawing eight, and losing 12 times in 28 games.
Despite the underwhelming run in the Premiership, Chiefs managed to win the 2025 Nedbank Cup in Nabi’s first season, ending the club’s 10-year trophy drought.
After tasting cup success, the Soweto giants have headed to the transfer market to sign players in pursuit of success in the new season.
