Betway Premiership side Polokwane City has moved swiftly to secure the signing of another winger as they look to fill the gap left by Oswin Appollis.
The Bafana Bafana international Appollis recently secured a move to Soweto giants Orlando Pirates after his impressive displays at PLK City.
The 23-year-old spent two successful seasons at the Limpopo side and had been a subject of speculation in recent transfer window periods.
Pirates beat competition from rivals Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns for the services of the winger.
WHICH PLAYER IS POLOKWANE CITY TARGETING TO REPLACE OSWIN APPOLLIS?
FARPost has spotted former Royal AM winger Levy Mashiane training with the Limpopo-based club. The 29-year-old has not been attached since Royal AM’s expulsion from the Premier Soccer League.
This publication has further established that the player could secure a deal at the club ahead of the new 2025/26 season.

MORE WINGERS SPOTTED AT BETWAY PREMIERSHIP CLUB AHEAD OF THE NEW SEASON
As this publication reported earlier, former Venda FC duo Rudzani Thobo and Thabelo Tshikweta are training with ‘Rise and Shine’ as they look to impress the club’s management.
They both left the Motsepe Foundation Championship side, Venda FC, at the end of the 2024/25 season. Another notable winger who Polokwane City signed is Keorapetse Mereki Sebone.
Sebone was signed from Pretoria Callies and has been at the club since they resumed their pre-season training.
The 26-year-old has also played for JDR Stars during the 2022/23 season. He joins Polokwane City alongside fellow Pretoria Callies players Mpho Mvundlela, Keagile Malepe and Saketso Steven Moremi.
Meanwhile, Polokwane City will begin their new campaign with an MTN8 quarter-final clash against Orlando Pirates on 2 August. They are also set to face Magesi FC in a Polokwane Derby according to the PSL draft fixture schedule.
