FARPost has established that talks for a new contract between Chippa United and left-back Azola Ntsabo have hit a deadlock.
Ntsabo has been part of the Betway Premiership side since 2022. He has also become an integral part of the team over the past few seasons.
The 26-year-old began his career at the Ajax Cape Town academy before moving to the now-defunct Cape Town All Starsย in the First Division.
He featured 15 times in the past season, scoring one goal. His stunning free kick against Polokwane City was voted goal of the month for March 2025.

This publication has gathered that talks between the player and the club have not progressed after they failed to reach an agreement.
His contract was due to be renewed ahead of the new season, but FARPost can confirm the talks have collapsed.

Chippa United have returned for pre-season with new coach Sinethemba Badela at the helm. Badela is assisted by Musa Nyatama.
The club has also been making additions to their playing personnel. The latest signings include Chad international midfielder รric Mbangossoum from Siwelele FC. Mbangossoum arrived in South Africa last season after four years in the Botola Pro with Union Touarga.
Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Sammy Seabi has also returned to the club for a second stint.
Orlando Pirates midfielders, Goodman Mosele and Azola Tshobeni, are also set to join the club ahead of the new season.
The club also parted ways with 18 players, including big names such as Andile Jali, Justice Chabalala, Bienvenu Eva Nga, and Baraka Majogoro.
