Betway Premiership side TS Galaxy have made significant moves in the market, signing nine players ahead of the 2025/26 season.

This comes after the Rockets lost key players Kamogelo Sebelebele, Sphiwe Mahlangu, and Dลพenan Zajmoviฤ‡.

Sebelebele has joined Orlando Pirates, while Mahlangu is now with Sekhukhune United. Zajmoviฤ‡, who parted ways with the club amicably, remains unattached along with Keagan Dolly.

Indications are that Galaxy are clearing their transfer bans, which will enable them to register new players. They kick off their new campaign with an MTN8 quarter-final clash against Sekhukhune United at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.

The clubโ€™s recruits include a mix of youth talents and experienced players. Among the signings is 17-year-old Siyabonga Nguessan, whose potential has caught the clubโ€™s attention. The teenager from Mpumalanga is tipped for a bright future in football.

Former Royal AM veteran striker Sedwyn George brings experience, while Onke Moletshe, previously with Venda Football Club, joins the squad after Galaxy attempted to sign him in the past. George spent the final three months of the season at Highbury FC after the expulsion of Royal AM.

The Mpumalanga side also welcomes Anslin Williams from JDR Stars, a 26-year-old winger who previously played for NB La Masia. Former JDR Stars and Dondol Stars central midfielder Matome Mmolai has also been added to their squad.

Speaking to Ikwekwezi FM, Galaxy president Tim Sukazi described him as a refined version of Bathusi Aubaas, citing expectations that he could eventually end up in Europe.

Other new signings include Mzwandile Dlamini, a midfielder formerly with Royal AM, and Veluyeke Zulu, who has finally signed a contract after training with the club for an extended period. Zulu’s last club was AmaZulu, and he is expected to slot in at central defence.

Former Kaizer Chiefs DStv Diski Challenge [DDC] captain Ntandoyenkosi Nkosi also joins the club. Junior Zindonga, previously with Marumo Gallants, is also on the verge of joining them, with a few issues to resolve with his former club.

Sukazi is optimistic about the new additions and looks forward to a competitive season ahead.
