Sekhukhune United mentor Eric Tinkler has shared his thoughts on the debut displays of veteran striker Bradley Grobler and former Orlando Pirates midfielder Miguel Timm.
The duo made their first appearances for Babina Noko in the MTN8 quarter-final encounter against TS Galaxy on Saturday night in Polokwane.
Grobler joined Sekhukhune from SuperSport United, who sold their PSL status to Siwelele FC, whereas Timm signed for the side from the Buccaneers, where his contract was not renewed.
The showdown between Sekhukhune and the Rockets ended in a dramatic 3-2 scoreline in favour of the Limpopo club at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium.
In addition, Grobler scored two goals for Sekhukhune against Galaxy and earned himself a Man of the Match accolade.

Tinkler revealed that Timm didn’t have the best game, but he knows the value he brings to his team.
He further praised Grobler for his stand out performance as the striker played a key role in Sekhukhune reaching the MTN8 semi-finals. Tinkler and Grobler previously worked together at SuperSport years back.
“Miguel Timm, today [ Saturday against TS Galaxy] he didn’t have his greatest performance, but I know what value he can bring, obviously, to the team,” said Tinkler.
“You know, Bradley, I worked with him before. Get the ball in the box, and Bradley will score.
“But managing him is going to be the most important factor to ensure that we keep him in the field of play.”
Sekhukhune will now shift their focus to the Betway Premiership, where they will open their campaign against Orlando Pirates on Saturday, 9 August 2025.
The match will be played at Orlando Stadium, with the kick-off scheduled for 17:30.
