It is also said thatย the club still has an outstanding issue with Liberian midfielder Jegbay Morris Konneh, who allegedly needs to be paid R2.1 million.

TECHNICAL DIRECTOR NERMIN BASIC CONFIRMS THAT THE TRANSFER BAN HAS BEEN SORTED OUT

Speaking after the match, Basic explained what he knows about the latest transfer ban affecting the club.

“I think we have fixed everything. But it’s not a question for me. I am just on the pitch,โ€ Basic told Journalists. โ€œThis is a question for the president [Tim Sukazi], but the information I have is that we fixed everything. We don’t have problems now.โ€

Nermin Basic was on the bench, standing in for the head coach Adnan Beganovic, who is serving a four-yellow-card suspension.

“Yes, we only had five players on the bench because other players are not registered,โ€ Basic further explained โ€œBut we didn’t come here to explain why we don’t have a full number of players. We came to win the game.

โ€œWe will have nine players in the next two weeks who will come into the squad and be ready. Then we will be stronger than today [Saturday]. But I am very positive. I never complain about this.โ€
