Motsepe Foundation Championship side Highbury FC has announced the signing of 13 new players, including a former Chippa United Utility player, ahead of the new season.
The Eastern Cape side is in its second season in the National First Division following its promotion from the SAFA ABC Motsepe League.
They finished ninth under the guidance of Kabelo Sibiya, 10 points below the PSL Promotional/Relegation Playoffs spot. The club has been beefing up their playing personnel after a few of its players left.
As FARPost earlier reported, newly formed Betway Premiership side, Siwelele FC, has signed highly-rated playmaker Koketso Sekgodiso from the club.
The 22-year-old attacking midfielder is renowned for being skilful and creative in the final third. He made 15 appearances at Highbury last season, scoring two goals and registering two assists.

Samkelo Jali is among the new signings announced on Tuesday after parting ways with Chippa United at the end of last season.
The 22-year-old right back and centre back made only two appearances for the senior team and spent most of his time in the DStv Diski Challenge [DDC] team of Chippa.
Another notable arrival at the club includes well-travelled winger Nkosinathi Ononogbu. Ononogbu spent the past season with Motsepe Foundation Championship club Kruger United. The 27-year-old has played for over six clubs in the National First Division so far.
The full list of new players announced by Highbury FC: Samkelo Jali, Yanelisa Nomandela, Naeem Amoojee, Menzi Ndwandwe, Ngero Katua, Axola Mpakati, Nkosinathi Ononogbu, Kennedy Eib, Oageng Phiri, Warick Alexander, Katlego Molaba, Kagiso Ndlovu, Boikano Petlane and Senzo Ndlovu.
Highbury will kick-start their season with a home fixture against the University of Pretoria at the Gelvandale Stadium on Friday, 22 August.
