South African left-winger Luther Singh has extended his contract with AEL Limassol, who compete in the Cyprus Elite League.
Singh’s new deal will see him stay at Limassol until May 2027. The 28-year-old joined the side in July 2024 after leaving FK Cukaricki.
The Stars of Africa Academy product made 33 appearances in all competitions for Limassol last season. In those games, he scored two goals and weighed in with 14 assists.
Limassol finished in position 11 after accumulating 24 points from 26 games in the Cypriot First Division regular season.

The club expressed its delight on Friday at having offered the South African footballer a new deal, believing he will help the team improve.
“The Board of Directors of AEL announces the renewal of its partnership with footballer Luther Singh until May 2027,” said the club in a statement.
“Our continued collaboration reaffirms our common desire for sustained progress and success in the effort to achieve our team’s objectives.
“We wish Luther Singh all the best in his blue and yellow jersey football journey, with health, strength and many team and individual successes.”
Singh, who has been overseas since August 2015, has played for teams such as GAIS FC, SC Braga B, Moreirense FC, GD Chaves, FC Copenhagen, to name a few.
To top it off, he has represented the South African Under-20 and U-23 teams, as well as Bafana Bafana, where he has over 10 caps.
Singh’s side will start the Cyprus first-tier league against Olympiakos Nicosia on Saturday, 23 August, at Alphamega Stadium.
Limassol’s hierarchy will be expecting Singh to continue where he left off in the last campaign and to continue adding the much-needed value to the club.
