At least three Major League Soccer [MLS] clubs have expressed serious interest in former Kaizer Chiefs defender Teenage Hadebe.
Hadebe is currently in the books of FC Cincinnati, who competes in the MLS Eastern Conference. He joined them in August 2024 following a brief stint in the books of Konyaspor in the Turkish Süper Lig.
The defender’s contract with FC Cincinnati is set to expire in December, though the club has the option to extend it for another year.
However, it has emerged that several clubs in the MLS are keen to sign him. His former club, Houston Dynamo FC, tops the list of clubs angling for his services.
HOUSTON DYNAMO FC AND VANCOUVER TARGETING THE FORMER KAIZER CHIEFS DEFENDER

Houston Dynamo FC competes in the MLS Western Conference, along with Bongokuhle Hlongwane‘s Minnesota United FC. They are not having a good season as they are 12th in the 15-team league with 28 points from 25 games.
Another team targeting the Zimbabwe international, Vancouver Whitecaps FC, has been enjoying an exceptional season where they sit in second position in the MLS Western Conference, with 45 points from 25 matches.
Meanwhile, Hadebe has made 19 appearances this season, with 16 in the MLS and three in the Leagues Cup.
In his first MLS appearance, the 29-year-old also made 56 appearances for Houston Dynamo FC before leaving for Turkey.
For Zimbabwe, he has 32 international caps, with four goals under his belt. He captained the Warriors in a friendly against Burkina Faso, as part of a new-look squad.
And he is expected to be one of the key figures leading The Warriors of Zimbabwe at the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers and the 2025 AFCON finals.
In addition, during his time at Kaizer Chiefs, he made 39 appearances. In Zimbabwe, Hadebe played for the now-defunct Bantu Rovers, Chicken Inn FC and Highlanders FC.
