Betway Premiership side Chippa United has unveiled former Cape Town City FC defender Nathan Fasika as their latest signing.
Fasika spent the past six months at the now relegated side. He had rejoined the club following the expiry of his loan at Norwegian side Valerenga.
He played a huge role in helping Valerenga clinch promotion to the Norwegian Premier League. The 26-year-old has now parted ways with the Motsepe Foundation Championship side.

The Chilli Boys announced the arrival of the Congolese defender on their social media platforms on Friday night.

MORE ARRIVALS EXPECTED AS THE EASTERN CAPE SIDE REINFORCE THEIR SQUAD
As FARPost earlier reported, former Richards Bay FC striker Somila Ntsundwana has resurfaced at the club. The striker was part of the squad during the early pre-season as the team assessed him.
But it’s believed he was among the players that coach Sinethemba Badela did not want to work with at the club. But with reports suggesting that Badela is on his way out, it appears Ntsundwana could soon join the club.
Chippa are reportedly in the process of finalising the departure of Badela, less than 10 weeks after he joined the club. It is said Badela has had major disagreements with new sporting director Sinesipho Mali over issues such as recruitment.
The former Mamelodi Sundowns DStv Diski Challenge [DDC] coach started the season with a 1-1 draw against his former club in the league. But he suffered a 1-0 defeat to newly promoted side Durban City FC in Chippa’s recent league match at Chatsworth Stadium.
