Former Orlando Pirates striker Phumudzo Manenzhe has offered his thoughts on what versatile attacker Kamogelo Sebelebele to the Soweto giants.
Sebelebele joined the Buccaneers in July this year from the Mpumalanga-based outfit, TS Galaxy.
His stellar displays for the Rockets last season caught the attention of the Sea Robbers. He featured in 29 matches across all competitions for the Adnan Beganovic-coached side. In those 29 games, he scored five goals and provided two assists.
Sebelebele opened his account for Pirates against Mamelodi Sundowns in the sold-out MTN8 first-leg semi-final tie at Orlando Stadium on Saturday, 16 August 2025.
The game between Pirates and Masandawana ended in a 1-1 scoreline. Bafana Ba Style were the first team to find the back of the net in the 36th minute through Teboho Mokoena. However Sebelebele leveled matters in the 87th minute of the showpiece.
Since his arrival at Pirates, the 23-year-old right-winger has played three games.

PHUMUDZO MANENZHE ON KAMOGELO SEBELEBELE’S IMPACT AT ORLANDO PIRATES
Manenzhe believes that Sebelebele is a strong and quality player, whil also pointing out the player’s attacking speed and aggression as major threats.
“He is a technically gifted player, you know. But what does he bring? He brings aggression, speed, and also the hunger to ask for the ball from behind,” Manenzhe told SuperSport TV.
“So, that is exactly how Orlando Pirates scored the goal [against Sundowns], with Sebelebele asking for the ball from behind.
“He is an out-and-out right winger. In the previous season, they had Mohau Nkota, who is left-footed, playing on the right, but this time they have an out-and-out right-footer on the right-hand side. When he receives the ball, there is no need to turn back to his stronger foot.
“He faced Ronwen Williams and became resourceful, putting the ball in the back of the net.”
