BLACK LEOPARDS TEAM MANAGER PLEASED WITH PLAYER MOVEMENTS
Leopards team manager Abel Makhubele has explained the recent departures and says the club is confident with the playing personnel they have in their ranks.
โThe technical team has looked at the loopholes where the team was lacking. We have identified the right players in all positions,” said Makhubele, who also serves as an assistant coach.
“This season will be a completely different season because we have balance in almost all the positions. It’s a continuation of where the coach left off. Players already understand the tactics. So we are not going to have a lot of challenges.
โI think the team looks balanced. We have also brought in Simon Gopane, an experienced goalkeeper coach. So things are shaping up well.”
Leopards will open their new campaign with a home clash against Casric Stars at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Saturday, 24 August.
