Sekhukhune United moved into the Betway Premiership pole position after a convincing 3-0 win over Orbit College FC at the Dobsonville Stadium in Soweto.
The Eric Tinkler-coached side emerged as the biggest winner on Tuesday night where TS Galaxy also scored four goals against Chippa United.
Babina Noko have maintained a spotless record after winning their first three matches, against Orlando Pirates, TS Galaxy and Orbit College respectively. As such they are tied on nine points with Kaizer Chiefs but they lead based on a superior goal difference.
At the Dobsonville Stadium, Sekhukhune United and Orbit College FC were brimming with confidence after winning their previous matches.
Orbit beat Siwelele FC 1-0 while Sekhukhune edged TS Galaxy 1-0. And in this one, Sekhukhune went into the half-time break leading via a goal that was scored by Vusimuzi Mncube in the 40th minute.
Mncube completed a brace for Sekhukhune on the hour mark. Four minutes later, Tshepo Mokoane made it three for Babina Noko.
PUSO DITHEJANE SHINES TS GALAXY HUMILIATE CHIPPA UNITED
At the Buffalo City Stadium in East London, Chippa United suffered a 4-1 defeat to TS Galaxy. Both teams lost their previous matches to Durban City FC and Sekhukhune United respectively. They were hoping for better fortunes.
And The Chilli Boys surged ahead after five minutes via a Khaya Mfecane goal. However Puso Dithejane restored parity for The Rockets on the 41st minute.
Midfielder Mlungisi Mbunjana then put TS Galaxy into the lead after 63 minutes. And Dithejane made it three for TS Galaxy in the 81th minute, before completing a hat-trick in stoppage-time.

At the Chatsworth Stadium in Durban the KZN Derby between Durban City FC and Golden Arrows ended in a 1-1 draw.
Durban City were hoping to maintain their winning run after beating Chippa United 1-0 in the last encounter. Golden Arrows were also eager to continue with their good fortunes. They beat Richards Bay 1-0 in their last assignment.
However in this one, Durban City gained an early lead via an own goal by John Karlese after 10 minutes of play. Striker Junior Dion equalised for Arrows after 41 minutes of play. That was all they needed to ensure a share of the spoils.
POLOKWANE CITY FC EDGE SIWELELE FC
Furthermore, Siwelele FC were handed a 1-0 defeat by Polokwane City FC at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria. In the last round of fixtures, both Siwelele FC and Polokwane City FC lost to an identical 1-0 to Orbit College and Kaizer Chiefs respectively.
Siwelele came into this match hoping to win and it was Polokwane City whose forrays quickly paid off. Keorapetse Sebone thrust them ahead after 18 minutes, with a goal they held onto until the break.
Sebone’s goal ensured Polokwane City accounted for their first win of the season.
