Khulumani Ndamane is set for a medical this week at Mamelodi Sundowns before putting pen to paper and immediately returning to TS Galaxy on loan.
According to FARPost sources, the player has already agreed on personal terms with the Tshwane giants, with his deal now contingent on a successful medical examination.
Ndamane began the current season with the Rockets and remains a key player for Adnan Beganovic’s side. He has played three matches in the Betway Premiership and one in the MTN8, providing one assist in the process.
The Mpumalanga-based side will retain the services of the player, who had an impressive debut season in the top-flight.
WHEN COULD NDAMANE RETURN TO SUNDOWNS?
It is understood the KwaZulu-Natal-born left centre-back could be recalled by Bafana Ba Style in the mid-season or join the team at the start of the 2026/27 campaign.

Ndamane’s impending move to the league champions comes after a potential transfer to Romanian club FCSB fell through. As previously reported by this website, the Romanian giants—who have Bafana Bafana defender Siyabonga Ngezana in their books—held talks with TS Galaxy.
It remains unclear why the European club ultimately did not continue its pursuit of the player. Moreover, locally, Orlando Pirates also enquired about Ndamane but never showed solid interest further.
Ndamane has been with Galaxy since the start of the 2024/25 season, joining the club after parting ways with Kaizer Chiefs DStv Diski Challenge [DDC] side. He made a seamless transition to the Betway Premiership with an impressive 27 appearances across all competitions.
The 21-year-old defender was part of the Bafana Bafana squad that played international friendly matches against Tanzania and Mozambique in Polokwane in June.
He made a truly memorable Bafana debut against the Taifa Stars, playing the full 90 minutes and earning the Man of the Match award for his stellar performance.
