Motsepe Foundation Championship side Cape Town City FC has officially unveiled former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Keagan Dolly.
Dolly joins the Cape outfit on a free transfer after parting ways with Betway Premiership club TS Galaxy in July 2025, having joined them in November 2024 following his departure from Amakhosi.
During his stint with the Rockets last season, the 32-year-old managed to feature in 20 games across all competitions and contributed three goals.
Dolly was recently with Bafana Bafana in the 2024 African Nations Championship [CHAN] under the tutelage of Molefi Ntseki. The CHAN tournament is currently taking place in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda.

At the CHAN competition, Dolly participated in four games. Unfortunately, South Africa was eliminated in the group stages.
CAPE TOWN CITY FC OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON KEAGAN DOLLY’S SIGNING
CT City expressed their excitement about acquiring Dolly’s services and believes he is the right man to help them return to the Betway Premiership.
In addition, Dolly was present during the Citizens’ opening league game against Venda FC at Athlone Stadium this past weekend.
“No need to guess anymore. We are pleased to confirm the signing of midfielder Keagan Dolly. Welcome to the City family, Keagan,” said the club in a statement on Wednesday.
Before heading to the CHAN tournament with Bafana, Dolly tried his luck at Siwelele FC, which bought SuperSport United’s PSL status, as previously reported by FARPost. However, Siwelele decided against signing Dolly before the start of the 2025/26 Betway Premiership campaign.
So far, CT City have signed Sifiso Ngobeni, Njabulo Ngcobo, Mickey van der Hart, and Simon van Duivenbooden.
Meanwhile, the club decided to recall Lorenzo Gordinho, who captained the team against Venda FC in their first game of the new season in the second-tier league on Saturday. Luca Diana-Oliaro, who plays as a goalkeeper, signed a new long-term contract with CT City.
