With Orlando Pirates having confirmed the exit of Katlego Otladisa, three Betway Premiership clubs emerge as potential destinations for the talented left-winger.

The Buccaneers announced that they have cut ties the 28-year-old footballer on Friday, 29 August 2025.

Otladisa signed for Pirates in July 2023 on a long-term contract following the relegation of his former team, Marumo Gallants, who are now competing in the South African elite league again after buying Moroka Swallows’ Betway Premiership status last campaign.

In the last term, there was growing concern over Otladisa’s limited playing time at Pirates, which led to his loan move to Sekhukhune United in January this year, as he never featured in any game for the Soweto giants last season.

When his loan deal at Babina Noko came to an end, he returned to his parent club for the 2025/26 PSL season. However, the left winger never featured for Pirates in the current campaign.

THE THREE POTENTIAL DESTINATIONS FOR KATLEGO OTLADISA AFTER ORLANDO PIRATES EXIT

According to local reports, Otladisa was let go by the Sea Robbers because he was not in the plans of Pirates’ new head coach, Abdeslam Ouaddou.

Otladisa is linked with a move to the three Betway Premiership sides. The three clubs in question are Orbit College FC, Chippa United, and Sekhukhune.

The player comes highly recommended, as he has also played for teams such as Platinum Stars, Cape Umoya United, Ajax Cape Town, Orbit College, and Mamelodi Sundowns.

Otladisa is now a free agent and can join any team of his choice after receiving his clearance from Pirates. However, it is still uncertain who will win the race for the winger amid links to Orbit College, Sekhukhune, and Chippa.
