The PSL has announced the first winners of the monthly accolades for the 2025/26 season, with Sekhukhune United head coach Eric Tinkler, TS Galaxy midfielder Puso Dithejane, and Orlando Pirates defender Kamogelo Sebelebele taking home the August awards.
Tinkler won the Coach of the Month award, while Dithejane and Sebelebele clinched Player of the Month and Goal of the Month, respectively.
Tinkler had a flying start to the new season with the Limpopo-based side as they are currently sitting at the top of the log standings with 13 points in five games.
Sekhukhune claimed four wins in the league and played one draw in their five opening matches of the campaign. They remain one of three clubs yet to suffer a defeat, alongside Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns, after five rounds of matches.
Meanwhile, TS Galaxy star Puso Dithejane clinched the Player of the Month award after his impressive run of form.

The talented attacker netted three goals and provided two assists. Dithejane beat Chiefs goalkeeper Brandon Petersen and Sekhukhune United winger Keletso Makgalwa for the award.
On the other hand, Pirates’ new signing Kamogelo Sebelebele picked up the Goal of the Month award for his powerful strike against Stellenbosch FC in the Premiership.

“Puso Dithejane, Eric Tinkler, and Kamogelo Sebelebele have been confirmed as the first recipients of the 2025/26 Betway Premiership Monthly Awards,” PSL announced in a statement on Thursday.
“Eric Tinkler was voted Betway Premiership Coach of the Month after guiding Sekhukhune United FC to an outstanding start to the season.
