TS Galaxy president Tim Sukazi has made a bold claim about Puso Dithejane, stating that he’s the best winger in South African football at the moment.
Dithejane has had an impressive start to the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season after playing a massive role in the club’s three-match unbeaten run.
In the past three games, Galaxy collected maximum points against Chippa United, Siwelele FC, and Orbit College FC. The talented attacker scored three goals and provided two assists in five league appearances to turn the fortunes of the Rockets, who had suffered two successive defeats in the first two games of the new campaign.
Dithejane’s brilliant start to the season earned him the Betway Premiership Player of the Month award for August. The Kaizer Chiefs development product clinched the accolade ahead of Amakhosi goalkeeper Brandon Petersen and Sekhukhune United winger Keletso Makgalwa.
In the other monthly awards for August, Eric Tinkler won the Coach of the Month after propelling Babina Noko to the summit of the league table with 13 points in five games, while Kamogelo Sebelebele took home the Goal of the Month for his strike against Stellenbosch FC.

Tim Sukazi has praised Dithejane’s contribution at Galaxy and believes that the 21-year-old should be in camp with Bafana Bafana for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. He also argued that the highly-rated youngster is the best winger in the league.
“For me, he [Dithejane] is the best winger in South Africa currently, I’m saying that without any fear of contradiction,” Sukazi said on Metro FM.
“He should be in Bloemfontein with Bafana Bafana, that’s why I say we had to sit down with Kamogelo Sebelebele to say that, you may want to go to whatever club, but the truth of the matter is that Orlando Pirates is the club that showed interest in you.
“I told him that in my view, this will propel your career, you will go to the national team immediately because you will do half of what you are doing at TS Galaxy to get selected for Bafana.
“The selectors don’t pay attention to TS Galaxy. Puso is the best winger in South Africa, no fear of contradiction. If we are about taking youngsters and taking them into the national team, Puso is the one.
“No doubt about it, I said it about [Samukelo] Kabini, he was not selected when he was at TS Galaxy until he went to FK Molde in Norway.”
