South African coach Fadlu Davids has made a bold promise to the Simba SC supporters following the Simba Day held at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium, Dar es Salaam, in Tanzania on Wednesday.
The former Orlando Pirates coach is in his second season with the Tanzanian giants. He finished second in his debut campaign with the team, four points behind rivals and eventual champions Young Africans.
Simba also reached the CAF Confederation Cup final but unfortunately lost to RS Berkane of Morocco.
The club has missed out on the title for the past four seasons and has not lifted the CRDB Federation Cup since the 2021/22 campaign.
They have won the league title 22 times, four fewer than their biggest rivals, Young Africans.
