Puso Dithejane breaks silence on European interest

TS Galaxy in-form attacker Puso Dithejane has broken his silence on attracting interest from an unnamed club in Croatia following his outstanding performances in the early stages of the 2025/26ย Betway Premiership season.

The talented winger played a key role in Galaxyโ€™s recent impressive run of form in the league, where they won three successive matches. Galaxy secured victories against Chippa United, Siwelele FC, and Orbit College FC before the FIFA international break.

Prior to winning three matches in a row, the Rockets suffered two defeats in the first opening matches of the campaign against Durban City FC and Sekhukhune United.

In the first six matches in all competitions, Dithejane netted three goals and provided three assists. His impressive form earned him the Betway Premiership Player of the Month award for August.

Meanwhile, Sekhukhune United head Eric Tinkler and Orlando Pirates winger Kamogelo Sebelebele won the Coach of the Month and Goal of the Month accolades, respectively.

After TS Galaxy boss Tim Sukazi revealed last week that a Croatian club had inquired about his services, Dithejane says the European interest has fueled his motivation to work even harder. The former Kaizer Chiefs development player sees the inquiry as a sign of his progress and a major push to elevate his game.

“To be honest, hearing that a team in Europe is asking about me made me so happy,” Dithejane told FARPost. “And that doesn’t mean I need to stop working hard because I’m getting recognised and there are teams that are asking about me.

“This has to push me to work even harder to constantly prove my qualities. I mean, I didn’t sign with any team overseas, hence I say I need to keep on working hard to prove that I can be a better player each and every day.”

The Amakhosi development product will be looking to maintain his rich vein of form when Galaxy return to league action against Richards Bay FC on the 17th of September, Wednesday at the Umhlathuze Sports Complex.
