Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has hinted that the club’s transfer business might not be over just yet, with the PSL transfer window set to close at midnight on Monday.
As teams are expected to rush to finalise their squads, Ouaddou suggested that the Buccaneers could still make a last-minute move before the deadline.
Pirates have been one of the most active sides in the market, signing 14 players, including Sipho Mbule, Kamogelo Sebelebele, Sihle Nduli, Lebone Seema and Oswin Appollis, who have turned themselves into regulars.
The Buccaneers have even enjoyed the luxury of loaning out other new signings, Abdoulaye Mariko to Chippa United and Kabelo Kgosotsile to Baroka FC, where he was initially signed from.
But with the Buccaneers having already tested their players in three competitions, the Betway Premiership, MTN8 and CAF Champions League, there could be areas Ouaddou might see that need some reinforcement.ย
OUADDOU SATISFIED WITH WHAT HE HAS, BUT OPEN TO ADDING MORE PLAYERS

More activity in the transfer market before the PSL window closes is a possibility, but the Buccaneers coach is content with the material at hand.
โFantastic mentality, very good human beings, the dressing room is one of the best I have been in since I became a coach,โ Ouaddou said.
โVery educated players, and they give everything, very good mentality. But now itโs up to my bosses, you know.ย If they believe that we need some more strength, they will decide as the bosses. Iโm here to train the guys that I have, but for the moment, I am happy with the players that I have.โ
Pirates have been involved in 10 matches across all competitions so far this season, and Ouaddou has not opened up on the areas he has identified as needing some beefing up in his squad.
Pirates have not conceded in their last four games, which might be testimony to a solid defence. They have scored 10 goals in those matches, something that speaks to creativity and an improved attack.ย
