Tanzanian giants Simba SC are eyeing a former Mamelodi Sundowns coach to take the helm. This comes after Wekundu Wa Msimbazi parted ways with Davids, who has joined Raja Athletic Club.
Davids, who joined the Dar es Salaam giants last season, has rejoined Moroccan giants Raja Athletic Club. He previously worked with the club as an assistant under Jozef Zinnbauer. He was unveiled by Raja as their new head coach on Monday.
Raja Casablanca recently parted ways with Lassaad Chabbi, who was in his second stint with the club. The three-time African champions had three primary candidates for the coaching position.
Among the top targets were Nasreddine Nabi, who is leaving Kaizer Chiefs, Davids, and former Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro. However, Nabi has reportedly declined the offer, as he is currently taking a break from football to support his wife during her recovery from a recent accident.
