BRADLEY GROBLER EMERGES AS THE POINT OF DIFFERENCE FOR SEKHUKHUNE UNITED

At the New Peter Mokaba Stadium, 37-year-old strikerBradley Grobler continued with his fine form after scoring the only goal that Sekhukhune United needed to beat a battling Golden Arrows outfit.

Grobler is defying the odds of age through a combination of an unparalleled work ethic and goal-scoring instincts. He scored a 90th-minute goal to earn Babina Noko their sixth win of the season. Grobler has now scored five goals in seven league matches.

Babina Noko came into this one brimming with confidence after accounting for the scalp of Kaizer Chiefs on Tuesday night.

On the other hand, Abafana Bes’thende were licking their wounds following their 2-1 defeat to Polokwane City FC on Wednesday.

And after facing serious resistance from Arrows, Grobler was the point of difference again, as he headed the ball home from what looked like a harmless cross, a few moments before the final whistle.

As such, the Eric Tinkler-coached side remains fixated at the summit of the log table with 19 points. In addition, Grobler was the Man of the Match.
