AmaZulu FC are set to battle it out with Kaizer Chiefs in their Betway Premiership showdown without a key midfielder on Wednesday at the FNB Stadium in Soweto.
The Betway Premiership midweek fixture between the AmaZulu and Chiefs will kick off at 19:30 with crucial three points at stake.
Currently, Usuthu are in ninth position on the log standings after accumulating 11 points from seven outings, whereas Amakhosi are placed fifth on the table with 14 points after seven games.
THE AMAZULU FC PLAYER TO MISS THE GAME AGAINST KAIZER CHIEFS
The Arthur Zwane-coached side will lock horns with the Soweto giants without the services of central midfielder Siyanda Hlangabeza due to suspension.

Hlangabeza received a red card during AmaZulu’s last league game against TS Galaxy, which they lost 3-1. The match took place on 24 September 2025, at Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga.
The 23-year-old has played eight games across all competitions for the KwaZulu-Natal club this campaign, having risen from the club’s reserve side. He spent last season on loan at Durban City FC in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
With his satisfying displays in the current season, Hlangabeza has already won two Betway Premiership Man of the Match awards, proving his importance to the Usuthu team.
Hlangabeza is the only player suspended for the upcoming Betway Premiership midweek fixtures.
As a result, coach Zwane will have to look for a better replacement for Hlangabeza within his squad, as he will be gunning for a victory against his former team.
Meanwhile, the Glamour Boys will see the return of new frontman Khanyisa Mayo, who netted on his debut against Marumo last week, after missing the CAF Confederation Cup game against Kabuscorp SCP over the weekend due to joining Chiefs after the registration period for CAF inter-club competitions has closed.
