Former Kaizer Chiefs winger Kgaogelo Sekgota has resurfaced at SAFA Limpopo ABC Motsepe League side Tubatse United, FARPost has learnt.
Sekgota has been without a club after parting ways with Motsepe Foundation Championship side Upington City FC.
The 28-year-old was recently admitted to the Hope of Achievers Rehabilitation Centre, situated in Segwashi village, east of Polokwane. He was reportedly struggling with the use of marijuana.

With a once-promising football career, Sekgota has played in countries such as Lithuania and Belgium.
He also played for Bidvest Wits and Moroka Swallows in South Africa before making a dream move to Kaizer Chiefs. But his career began to decline after reports of off-field issues.
He left the club in 2023 to join fellow Betway Premiership side Stellenbosch FC. However, his stay at the club was short-lived over issues of ill-discipline.
At the time, Coach Steve Barker cited a violation of the club’s code of conduct as the reason for letting him go. He was also surprisingly released by Magesi FC, a month after the club won the 2024 Carling Knockout.
He also spent the past season at Motsepe Foundation Championship side Upington City before he began his rehabilitation process.

FARPost has established that Sekgota has been training with the club for the past few weeks. It appears that a deal is imminent with the winger expected to feature in the upcoming season.
This publication has gathered that the club could announce his signing before the end of the coming week.
Sekgota did not take part in the club’s Nedbank Cup qualification match that took place at the Mapodile Stadium in Burgersfort on Saturday.
