CLAYTON DANIELS WILL BE ASSISTING COACH DYLAN DEAN AT HOPE FC

With the club starting its new journey in the ABC Motsepe League, Daniels will be working closely with head coach Dylan Dean.

Hope FC, formerly known as Sea Point Swifts FC, acquired the ABC Motsepe League status of Oriented Birds FC prior to the commencement of the new season.

The side started the new campaign like a house on fire, humiliating Maties FC with a 4-0 scoreline in their Nedbank Cup preliminary stage at Erica Park Stadium over the weekend.

Hope FC will be gunning to advance to the Last 32 of the Nedbank Cup, having started the qualification phase successfully.

Daniels comes highly recommended, as he boasts both Betway Premiership and Motsepe Foundation Championship experience, having also played for clubs such as Maritzburg United, Bloemfontein Celtic, Cape Town Spurs FC, Ajax Cape Town and SuperSport United.

As reported by FARPost a few days ago, Hope FC strengthened its squad with ex-PSL midfielder Craig Martin.

Meanwhile, Hope FC will be facing Junction Rovers in the next round of the Nedbank Cup qualification on Saturday, 18 October, at home. The game will start at 15:00.
