The former Kaizer Chiefs duo of Knowledge Musona and Khama Billiat is set for a major milestone as Zimbabwe’s PSL nears its end.
The dynamic duo, currently plying their trade with Scottland FC, is poised to win their maiden Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title in 2025.
On Saturday, Scottland FC opened a six-point lead at the summit of the Zimbabwe elite league. They beat rivals MWOS FC 1-0 in a thrilling match at the Rufaro Stadium in Harare.
Musona scored the decisive goal, with his young brother Walter Musona providing the pinpoint assist. The win was further sweetened for Scottland FC as they benefited from Simba Bhora’s 2-1 defeat to Ngezi Platinum Stars.
ONE MORE WIN WILL EARN MUSONA AND BILLIAT THEIR FIRST LEAGUE TITLE IN ZIMBABWE

With only three games remaining, Scottland FC sits comfortably on 62 points, six points clear of second-placed Simba Bhora. They are seven points ahead of third-placed MWOS FC. Furthermore, Scottland FC can seal the 2025 league title if they win their next match against Kwekwe United.
For Musona, this season marks his first in Zimbabwe after a decent stint in Saudi Arabia. The 35-year-old striker has been a fan favourite in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League, scoring two goals for Scottland FC. Additionally, his experience and leadership have been invaluable to the team.
Billiat, on the other hand, is in his second season in the Zimbabwean league. The 35-year-old joined Scottland FC after a successful spell with Yadah FC in the 2024 season. Billiat has contributed one goal and several assists for Scottland FC, playing a crucial role in the team’s title push.
With Scottland FC’s impressive form, Musona and Billiat are likely to make history by winning the league title in the team’s maiden season in the elite league.
In addition, the Harare-based side is also home to former Betway Premiership stars Terrence Dzvukamanja, Khuda Muyaba, and Ronald Pfumbidzai.
