Musa Nyatama has claimed back-to-back wins in his new job in the Motsepe Foundation Championship as the Upington City FC coach, while AmaTuks put five goals past Leicesterford City FC in midweek games.
Nyamata took over a coaching job at the Northern Cape-based side a few weeks ago to replace Abram Mongoya, who has been sacked.
In his first game at City, the young mentor collected maximum points with a 2-1 victory over AmaTuks last weekend. Bafana Ba Gucci made it a second successive win under Nyatama after beating Baroka FC 3-0 on Tuesday at Mxolisi Dicky Jacobs Stadium.
The two wins moved Upington City to the third position on the Motsepe Foundation table with 16 points in eight games. They won five matches, drew once, and suffered two defeats.

Elsewhere, Tuks returned to winning ways with an emphatic 5-0 win against Leicesterford at Tuks Stadium in another match played on Tuesday. The Kwanele Kopo-coached side has had a challenging start to the 2025/26 season in the NFD after opening the campaign with six draws in a row.

So far, the University of Pretoria has won two league matches, played six draws, and lost on one occasion.
Meanwhile, Gomora United played to a 1-1 stalemate with The Bees at KaNyamazane Stadium as the NFD action took centre stage midweek. The two teams are new in the second division after gaining promotion from the ABC Motsepe League in the off-season.
