Kaizer Chiefs will head into Tuesday’s Betway Premiership clash with Orbit College FC without a key player due to suspension.
Straight from grinding a 1-0 victory over Durban City on Friday, Amakhosi are back home to host Orbit at FNB Stadium. It was a result which ended Chiefs’ four-match winless run in the PSL.
Still fourth in the standings, the Soweto giants remain in contention for the league title. They have three points less than table-toppers Mamelodi Sundowns, with a game in hand.
Chiefs are tied on 19 points with old foes and third-placed Orlando Pirates who, however, have played a game less than them.
The Orbit match presents Amakhosi with an opportunity to stay close to their nearest challengers for the league crown. But it might not be an easy evening for Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef’s men.
They come up against Mswenko Boys who go into Tuesday’s match having won their last two PSL games. Their 3-1 win over Magesi FC was the first time for Orbit to record consecutive wins this season.
However, Chiefs will be without a key defender for this match.
WHO IS THE CHIEFS STAR UNAVAILABLE FOR THE ORBIT GAME?

Kaze and Ben Youssef are planning to go into battle without central defender Inacio Miguel. The Angola international is suspended after picking up a fourth yellow card against Durban City.
He returns on the sidelines just as he had returned from a minor injury which saw him miss the CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round, second leg clash with AS Simba.
On his return, he managed to help the Soweto giants keep a clean sheet against Durban at Moses Mabhida Stadium.
Interestingly, Miguel was at the heart of defence when Chiefs did not concede in three straight matches before the home match against Simba which he watched from the stands.
The 29-year-old was also in central defence when Amakhosi did not ship in goals in their first five games of the season. However, in his absence, Chiefs coaches seem to have enough cover in Zitha Kwinika and Aden McCarthy.
While Chiefs will be missing Miguel, Orbit will also be without defender Katlego Mkhabela who was red-carded during the 3-1 win over Magesi FC on Saturday.
