MARUMO GALLANTS’ OFFICIAL STATEMENT ON ROAD ACCIDENT INVOLVING THE CLUB BUS
“Marumo Gallants FC confirms that the team bus was involved in a minor road incident on Sunday evening while travelling from the stadium to the hotel in Durban. This follows the club’s Betway Premiership fixture against Golden Arrows,” said the club in a statement on Monday.
“The incident occurred as part of a three-car pile-up. This caused a private vehicle to be pushed forward and lightly bumped the rear of the team bus. Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported. All players, technical staff, and personnel on board are safe and in good condition.
“We are thankful that all our players and staff are safe. The incident was minor, and we appreciate the prompt response from local authorities and emergency services who ensured everyone’s safety.”
