The PSL has confirmed the venue and date for the Carling Knockout Cup final showdown between Orlando Pirates and Marumo Gallants.
This venue announcement took place immediately after the Carling Knockout semi-final tie between Golden Arrows and Marumo Gallants at King Zwelithini Stadium on Sunday, 9 November 2025.
In addition, Pirates were confirmed as the hosts of the final match. This follows the PSL also conducted the Carling Knockout final home-and-away draw.
The much-awaited final between the Buccaneers and the Bloemfontein-based outfit is set for Saturday, 6 December 2025. The Kick off time is yet to be confirmed.
Pirates progressed to the Carling Knockout final after a 1-0 win over Richards Bay FC in the tournament’s semi-final encounter at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday afternoon.
On the other hand, Bahlabane ba Ntwa advanced to the Carling Knockout final after defeating Abafana Bes’thende 4-2 on penalties. The match between the two teams ended 2-2 after 120 tiresome minutes.
Last weekend, Arrows thrashed Gallants 4-0 in the Betway Premiership clash at the very same venue.

PSL REVEAL THE CARLING KNOCKOUT CUP FINAL VENUE
The Pirates and Gallants’ final match will take place at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane. The 45,500-capacity stadium is expected to host a sold-out affair, especially with the Sea Robbers taking part in the final.
Last season, the final was played at the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein, when Magesi clinched the Carling Knockout title after defeating Mamelodi Sundowns 2-1.
The champion of the Carling Knockout will take home R6.85 million, whereas the second-place finisher will receive R2.85 million.
Meanwhile, the PSL will announce information about the ticket sales, and other logistical details will be provided in due course.
