Following his recent shift in role at Chippa United, former head coach Morgan Mammila has wasted no time in planning his career trajectory, now revealing his ambitious goals for acquiring new coaching badges.
Mammila remains contracted to the Betway Premiership side, although his current responsibilities require him to work remotely.
His previous roles at the club include sporting director, head coach, and assistant coach. He also held similar roles at Motsepe Foundation Championship side Baroka FC.
The charismatic coach has since revealed an ambitious goal: obtaining the CAF A coaching license in the coming months to enhance his current qualifications.
WHAT IS THE NEXT MOVE IN TERMS OF COACHING QUALIFICATIONS FOR EX-CHIPPA UNITED COACH
“I have got a CAF B Diploma coaching qualification. In the next eight months, it will be an opportunity for me should a CAF A license be offered. I will be one of the coaches,” Mammila told FARPost.

“I did not come into football for money. I got into football because I love the game and wanted to contribute to my community and the country. Of course, by the end of June 2026, I will also start knocking [for job opportunities], just like any other coach or administrator.
MORGAN MAMMILA AIMS TO PROMOTE YET ANOTHER CLUB TO THE PSL
Mammila added that his next move upon the expiry of his contract at Chippa would be to seek a new challenge where he can help a club gain promotion, whether in the second-tier league or amateur ranks.
“One thing about me, I would say I am lucky because I can juggle so many things in football. I have been a CEO for more than six years, and I have been a coach for more than two years. So anything available for me,” he declared.
“But to be honest, I will be happy if I get a nice project, even if it’s the ABC Motsepe League or the Motsepe Championship, so that I can play a part in promoting a team again. It will be good for me.
“There is no rush for me to rush back to the PSL, but if that opportunity comes, I will grab it with both hands.”
