Kaizer Chiefs have revealed the reason for the postponement of their Betway Premiership tie against Limpopo side, Magesi FC.
This showdown was initially scheduled to be played on Wednesday, 26 November, at Seshego Stadium outside Polokwane, according to Amakhosi’s statement.
The Glamour Boys are currently placed third in the Betway Premiership log standings with 22 points after 11 games.
Meanwhile, Dikwena Tsa Meetse are languishing at the bottom [14th place] of the table with 10 points from 12 outings.
Chiefs have come forward to confirm that their match against the John Maduka-coached side has been postponed due to their CAF Confederation Cup schedule and travel arrangements.
The PSL will then confirm the new date for this particular Betway Premiership showpiece in due course.

Chiefs are gearing up for a crucial two-match campaign against Egyptian powerhouses, kicking off right after the FIFA international break.
The first challenge sees Chiefs travel to Egypt to face Al Masry on Sunday, November 23. The match is set for the Suez Stadium in Suez (150km from Cairo) and will kick off at 18:00 SAST.
Just six days later, the focus shifts back home. Chiefs will host their second Egyptian opponent, Zamalek SC, in a highly anticipated clash on Saturday, November 29. The tie will be played at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane, starting at 15:00.
“The match between Magesi FC and Kaizer Chiefs, originally set for 26 November 2025 at Seshego Stadium, has been postponed due to our CAF Confederation Cup schedule and related travel logistics,” said the club in a statement on Friday.
“Owing to the travelling distance between South Africa and Egypt spanning the full vertical length of the African continent. The PSL will advise on the new date in due course.”
