Cape Town Spurs, under the tutelage of ex-Bafana Bafana international Nasief Morris, began life in the SAFA Western ABC Motsepe League in style after their 3-1 win over Zizwe United over the weekend.
The showdown between CT Spurs and Zizwe took place at the Ikamva-Parow facility in Cape Town on Saturday, 15 November 2025.
Azola Jakalashe scored a brace on the day, with Eyona Ndondo adding to the scoreline to ensure the Urban Warriors collected three points in their first league match of the 2025/26 season.
CT Spurs were relegated from the Motsepe Foundation Championship on the final day of the last campaign after suffering a 1-0 loss to Durban City FC at Athlone Stadium on Sunday, 18 May 2025.
