Scottland FC’s maiden Zimbabwe Premier Soccer League [PSL] title win has triggered a lavish reward package for the club’s players, including Khama Billiat and Knowledge Musona, it has emerged.

After clinching the championship with two games to spare, the players are set to be rewarded with a fleet of cars worth around R9 million.

The triumph was also driven by the former Kaizer Chiefs duo of Billiat and Musona. Billiat arrived at the club from Yadah FC at the start of the 2025 season and has scored twice.

Musona joined in July after a stint with Saudi Pro League side Al Akhdoud, contributing three goals and providing leadership that helped stabilise the side during the crucial home‑stretch run.

Scottland FC will lift the trophy on 22  November when they take on TelOne FC in the season finale at Ascot Stadium in Gweru.

Crucially, club president Scott Sakupwanya is said to be finalising a ‘staggering’ incentive plan. Each player is expected to receive a Kia Seltos, valued at approximately R330 000 [about US$19 400]. With a full squad of 30 players, the total value of the vehicle package approaches R9 million.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwean football journalist Makomborero Mutimukulu revealed the development, saying the car handout will be part of a broader bonus structure to reward the historic achievement.

Adding to the windfall, their major sponsor, Wicknell Chivhayo, recently rewarded them with R4.2 million [US$250 000], further boosting the financial celebrations.

The double boost—cars for the squad and a substantial sponsor injection—underscores Scottland FC’s ambition as they are set to step onto the continental stage for the 2026/27 CAF Champions League.

And with the title secured and a generous reward package looming, the focus now shifts to the final match, where they hope to wrap up the season on a high note.
