In a quick turnaround, former Kaizer Chiefs star Siphelele Ntshangase has found a new home in the Limpopo ABC Motsepe League, joining Mohlabile United. This move comes after his sudden departure from Makotopong Bahumi FC, with whom he began the season in the same stream.

Ntshangase left Bahumi last month just after making one appearance for the Makotopong-based outfit in the Nedbank Cup qualification tie against Mohlabile United, a team he had just joined.

Unfortunately, Bahumi, who recently got promoted to the Motsepe League following their success in the regional provincial playoffs in August this year, suffered a 1-0 defeat to Mohlabile United in the Nedbank Cup qualification phase. This encounter took place at the Seshego Stadium outside Polokwane in mid-October 2025.

The 32-year-old had signed for Bahumi following his stint with Sunrise FC, which had been expelled from the SAFA Limpopo ABC Motsepe League.

WHY SIPHELELE NTSHANGASE LEFT MAKOTOPONG BAHUMI FC JUST AFTER ONE GAME

According to local reports, Bahumi and Ntshangase have succumbed to a decision to go their separate ways after not reaching favourable contractual agreements.

Ntshangase’s experience in the SA top flight and the Motsepe Foundation Championship is anticipated to benefit Mohlabile United and assist them in contending for the league title.

As a result, the side will be gunning to qualify for the SAFA ABC Motsepe League National Playoffs, with the aim of gaining promotion to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

The Ga-Chuene Thokgoaneng-based outfit, Mohlabile United, is currently placed fifth in Stream B of the Limpopo Motsepe League with four points after two games.

The club’s next league assignment will be against stream leaders Gosebo United on Thursday, 20 November 2025. This showdown will take place at Mapodile Stadium in Burgersfort. The kickoff for this game is scheduled for 15:00.
