FARPost has established that Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit Black Leopards has made a decision regarding Judas Moseamedi following the veteran striker’s recent trial stint with the club.
Moseamedi had been training with Leopards since October while trying to impress the technical team. At the time, Leopards were under the guidance of Joel Masutha, who has since left the club. The 31-year-old has been without a club since he parted ways with Venda FC at the end of last season.
Despite making an impact, helping Venda FC survive relegation, he was a surprise omission from the new players unveiled by the club at the beginning of the 2025/26 season.
Moseamedi also had a short stint at Durban City FC during their campaign in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.
The former Cape Town City FC striker also spent six weeks at Tunisian side El Gawafel Sportives de Gafsa despite having joined on a two-year deal.

This publication has established that the club has decided against signing the veteran striker. It is said that head coach Mabhuti Khenyeza made the call against signing the player due to the number of strikers already at his disposal.
Leopards currently have Namibian international Bethuel Muzeu, club’s all-time leading goal scorer Mwape Musonda as well as Sedzani Mudau as their main strikers.

Leopards are currently bottom of the Motsepe Foundation Championship log after 13 matches played. Leopards have collected 10 points with two wins, four draws and seven defeats this season.
They have scored 15 while conceding 19 goals in the process. The club has also been eliminated from the Nedbank Cup through the NFD qualification phase.
