Chippa United loan Sisanda Mbhele back to KZN midlands

Chippa United winger Sisanda Mbhele arrival at Chippa

Chippa United winger Sisanda Mbhele has moved back to the KZN midlands following the completion of his loan move from the Betway Premiership side to second division outfit, Midlands Wonderers.

Mbhele joined the Chilli Boys last July as a free agent following the expulsion of his former club, Royal AM. His move formed part of Chippaโ€™s major squad revamp, following the release of over 18 players.

Nevertheless, the exciting winger has struggled to impress despite the usual coaching changes at his new club.

Mbhele exits without making a single appearance across all 15 games in all competitions for the Chilli Boys.

Thus, FARPost has received reliable intel confirming the skilful winger’s loan move. A close source has further confirmed that the player has travelled back to KZN following the completion of his loan deal to the Midlands Wanderers.

Mbhele will be closely monitored by his parent club as he is set to spend the rest of the season at the Motsepe Foundation Championship side.

For the Chilli Boys, Mbheleโ€™s exit may be a strategic step towards accommodating the return of a former star, making for a slim but effective squad.

On Friday, Orlando Pirates announced the departure of Sinoxo Kwayiba and confirmed that he will be returning to his former club, Chippa United, on a permanent transfer.

The Buccaneers snapped up the versatile attacker last July following an impressive showing at Chippa United. During the 2024/25 season, he scored seven goals and registered one assist in 27 appearances.

Nevertheless, breaking into the highly competitive Pirates squad proved difficult for the 25-year-old. He departs having accumulated just four appearances in his brief spell at the Soweto giants.

Despite the forgetful period, Kwayiba returns to his former club as a proven attacking force. The reunion makes for an opportunity to rekindle his spark and regain the lost form in a familiar environment.
