SAFA Western Cape ABC Motsepe League outfit Hope FC has unveiled veteran striker Ruzaigh Gamildien as their marquee signing, alongside a host of new arrivals to bolster their squad for the remainder of the season.

The Dylan Dean-coached side has bolstered its squad with the acquisition of striker Gamildien, left winger Masilakhe Phohlongo, and goalkeeper Leathan Croats.

Gamildien joins the ambitious ABC Motsepe League side as a free agent following his departure from Betway Premiership side Chippa United. He signed for the Chilli Boys in August last year after cutting ties with Durban City FC.

On the other hand, Phohlongo joins Hope FC from the SAFA Limpopo ABC Motsepe League side Mpheni FC. He has also had stints with teams such as TS Galaxy, Baroka FC, and Highbury FC.

Meanwhile, Croats signed for the Cape club from Motsepe Foundation Championship side AmaTuks, with the club hoping that he will add the much-needed value between the sticks.

Hope FC, previously known as Sea Point Swifts FC, acquired Oriented Birds FC’s ABC Motsepe League status ahead of the start of the 2023/24 SA third-tier league.
