FARPost has learnt that Betway Premiership side Polokwane City FC have parted ways with four players, including Levy Mashiane, who joined at the beginning of the season.
Mashiane joined Rise and Shine at the beginning of the season as a free agent following his departure at now-defunct Royal AM.
He made nine appearances for the club in all competitions. His debut was during the 2-0 loss to Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 opening match at Orlando Stadium.
But this publication has reliably been informed that the 29-year-old is set to leave the club.
WHO ARE THE OTHER PLAYERS THAT HAVE BEEN RELEASED BY POLOKWANE CITY?
This publication has further established that Nyakala Raphadu [Right winger], Hlayisi Chauke [Striker] and Thato Letshedi [Midfielder] are also leaving the club.
Raphadu [28] has been with the club since 2023 after joining from now-defunct Pretoria Callies. He only featured once in the current season.

Chauke [24] hasnโt featured for the club this season after suffering a serious injury last season. He has been part of the club for the past four and a half seasons.
Letshedi, on the other hand, has been at the club for a season and a half. He only featured four times this season under coach Phuti Mohafe.
ZIMBABWEAN MIDFIELDER RESURFACES AT BETWAY PREMIERSHIP SIDE
Meanwhile, Zimbabwean midfielder Juan Mutudza from Caps United has resurfaced at the club. As FARPost had earlier reported, Mutudza arrived in the country to join Motsepe Foundation Championship side Black Leopards.
This publication has gathered that the 30-year-old had agreed to a two-year contract with Lidoda Duvha.
However, Mutudza featured for Polokwane City during the recent top four tournament at the Mafori stadium in Lebowakgomo, Limpopo. He played in both the two matches that Polokwane City played against Baroka FC and against Gomora United.
