Former Sekhukhune United and Orlando Pirates midfielder Lesedi Kapinga has resurfaced at Betway Premiership side Orbit College FC, FARPost has learnt.
Kapinga last played a competitive match for Sekhukhune United last season. This publication has gathered that he had been part of the team but training with the DStv Diski Challenge [DDC] side since the beginning of the season. This is after he was deemed to be surplus to requirements by head coach Eric Tinkler.
Before his move to Sekhukhune, Kapinga was at Orlando Pirates, where he spent just one season. The 30-year-old has also featured for Mamelodi Sundowns and Black Leopards.
MIDFIELDER LESEDI KAPINGA IS TRYING HIS LUCK AT ORBIT COLLEGE
It appears that Kapinga has since settled his matter with Sekhukhune United and is now a free agent.
This publication has gathered that Kapinga started training with Orbit this week. He joins the likes of former Orlando Pirates Ben Motshwari, who have been training with the club.
Motshwari [34] has been without a club since he parted ways with AmaZulu FC at the end of last season. He is now hoping to impress coach Pogiso Makhoye and his technical team.

ORBIT COLLEGE SET TO MAKE A DECISION ON BEN MOTSHWARI
Earlier this week, after their 2-0 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns, coach Makhoye had indicated that the club would not be making any signings except for the decision on Motshwari.
However, Kapinga might also be another addition if he does impress the technical team. Meanwhile, Orbit has also roped in junior international striker Thabang Mahlangu.
“We have brought in Mahlangu, the U/20 striker. It’s just he’s still struggling with fitness,โ said Makhoye.
โBut we are not going to bring anyone again. The only decision will be whether to include Ben Motshwari, as we have Mahlangu as a striker to help us score goals.
โSo we are not worried because we only lost Saleng. It’s not like we lost the whole front three, especially people who have been scoring for us.”
