Foster on target as Mokwena suffers setback in CAF CL

Lyle Foster scored his third goal of the season for Burnley, as coach Rulani Mokwena’s CAF Champions League hopes with MC Alger suffered a blow.

Former Mamelodi Sundowns star Rushine de Reuck played the entire match for Steve Barker’s side as they lost 1-0 to Espérance de Tunis at Stade olympique Hammadi-Agrebi.

Meanwhile, St Eloi Lupopo handed Rulani Mokwena’s MC Alger a 1-0 defeat in a dramatic CAF Champions League Group C Match played at Mazembe Stadium in Lubumbashi.

It was a tightly contested match, but the home side secured a win via a late penalty scored by Michael Kimputu. Mokwena’s side remains rooted at the bottom of Group C with two points on their tally.
