In a move that bolsters their attacking options for the second half of the 2025/26 Betway Premiership season, Magesi FC have secured the signing of winger Levy Mashiane from neighbours Polokwane City FC.
The transfer marks a strategic shift for both Limpopo-based clubs as the mid-season window heats up. Mashiane, who joined the Rise and Shine only in July 2025 on a free transfer after the expulsion of Royal AM, makes a swift cross-town move to join the John Maduka-coached side.
Mashianeโs stint at PLK City was relatively brief. The former Royal AM man, made nine appearances across all competitions for the Rise and Shine in the current campaign.
The 29-year-old winger is expected to provide the much-needed width and top-flight experience as Dikwena tลกa Meetse continue to fight to avoid the relegation zone.
Magesi has been active in the market to ensure their survival and competitiveness in the Betway Premiership as they have also roped in the Orlando Pirates duo of Sifiso Luthuli and Siyabonga Ndlozi.
