The match between Kaizer Chiefs legends and Orlando Pirates Masters, which was scheduled for Saturday, 7 February at Ellis Park Stadium in Johannesburg, has been postponed.
The winners of the derby match were supposed to face an international legends team in April.
Some of the former players expected to be part of the match from both sides, who were also part of the launch in January, include Thuso Phala, Lucky Lekgwathi, Lehlohonolo Majoro, Morgan Gould and Happy Jele, who featured for both clubs in the PSL era.

Speaking at the launch, Chiefs marketing director Jessica Motaung believed the game would offer great entertainment value for the fans.
“We thank Puzzle Pictures for the invitation and we are looking ahead to this game, knowing that a win will give our legends the chance to take on some of their international legendary peers,” she said.
“Every derby at any level always throws up a great spectacle and this one will be no different. We have an exciting line up and we are looking to thoroughly entertain the fans,” added Motaung.

However, on Tuesday, Puzzle Pictures issued a statement confirming that the match has now been postponed to an unconfirmed date.
“We wish to inform all valued football supporters that the upcoming match has been postponed due to matters beyond our control,” the company said.
“We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding. A new match date will be communicated in due course through our official platforms and Ticketpro.
“Supporters who have already purchased tickets and wish to request a refund are kindly advised to engage directly with Ticketpro.”
“We thank you for your continued support and patience. We look forward to delivering an unforgettable football experience once the new date is confirmed.”
