Betway Premiership side Siwelele FC have announced the acquisition of ex-Orlando Pirates winger Mahlatse Makudubela and Moloisane Mokhele for the second round of the 2025/26 season.
Siwelele have been one of the active clubs on the transfer market in the recently-closed January window, as they look to make a decent showing in the remaining months of the campaign.
The Bloemfontein-based side is keen on maintaining its status in SA’s top-flight after purchasing SuperSport United in the off-season. In their first season in the Premiership, Siwelele have been producing inconsistent performances, which have seen them struggle to put themselves amongst the competitive teams in the top half of the log standings.
The Lehlohonolo Seema’s changes are currently sitting 11th on the league table with 17 points in 16 matches played. They registered four wins, five draws, and seven defeats.
Meanwhile, in the mid-season transfer window, Siwelele have already signed former Kaizer Chiefs star Kgaugelo Sekgota and Thato Letshedi. On Wednesday, the Siwelele announced further additions to their squad with the signing of Makudubela and Mokhele.
SIWELELE ADD THE EXPERIENCE OF MAKUDUBELA TO THEIR SQUAD

Makudubela is an experienced midfielder who played for several clubs in the PSL and on the African continent. The exciting winger has played for notable sides such as Platinum Stars, Orlando Pirates, and Marumo Gallants. His career has only taken him abroad with AS Vita Club and Young Africans SC, amongst others.
The 35-year-old is bringing a wealth of experience to Siwelele, which could propel Siwelele to the top eight finish come the end of the season.
On the other hand, Moloisane Mokhele is a talented winger, and he’s joining Siwelele from the Botswana Premier League side Matebele FC. The 29-year-old attacker is familiar with the PSL, having played for teams such as Chippa United and Sekhukhune United.
